Dom zdravlja Zagreb – Centar (DZZC) is a primary health care institution that provides the population of the City of Zagreb with accessible, continuous, complete and integrated health care. The implementation of health care activities, coordination and contracting of health care in the Health Center Zagreb – Centar are performed by contracted health care workers in primary health care and specialist- consultative teams
The founder and owner of DZZC is the City of Zagreb, and it was founded in 2002. with the conclusion on the merger of the Health Centers Centar, Medveščak, Trnje, Novi Zagreb, the Student Health Center and Željezničar.
Health center Zagreb – Centar is the largest provider of primary health care services in the Republic of Croatia and its responsibility is to provide primary health care for about 350,000 inhabitants of the City of Zagreb through the rational and coordinated activities of 315 contracted teams from 19 different industries. It employs a total of 909 employees, includes various activities in the area of 64 locations of the City of Zagreb, including three pharmacies. The largest activity is the general practice service, which has a total of 103 family medicine teams, noting that DZZC as a health institution has a leading role in the scientific – teaching and professional development of family medicine because it is the seat of health activities of teachers of the Department of Family Medicine.
